We cannot sponsor overseas students for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) courses requiring a Student Visa (formerly the Tier 4/General student visa). However, you may still be eligible for this course if you lived in the UK before 11pm on Thursday, 31st December 2020.
(This does not apply to MFL candidates)
Prior requirements:
It is a government requirement that you have a GCSE grade C / 4 or equivalent in Maths and English Language.
You must also apply for an enhanced DBS certificate and complete a Fitness to Teach medical questionnaire if successful in gaining a place. These must be completed and applied for before the course begins. If you hold a DBS and it is on the update service, then this can be transferred – you will need to speak to the admissions team to approve this.
